Emerge New Woman
Welcome to Emerge New Woman, an organisation that seeks to empower women with emotional frustrations through the journey of recovery into achieving a life of fulfilment. The new woman is a non-governmental organisation duly registered in Ghana.
We create a platform for women to seek advice, counselling, training, and motivation to carry on from where they stopped by empowering to emerge and go forth.
My vision and passion sterns from the fact that women especially of African decent are suffering in silence over challenges in life that has grounded their ability to ascend to their goals, aspirations and dreams.
Our cornerstone is taken from the bible passage 2 Samuel 13:1-19; a story of a young lady (Tamar) who suffered in silence after being violated by her brother. “Preserving family image”
A number of women have suffered in silence to protect a relative who has victimized them. My purpose is for you to no longer suffer in silence and give up on yourself and dreams as a result. We refuse to accept this.
We believe every woman is destined for a life of purpose and fulfilment.
In the case of Tamar, The bible states that she tore her coat of diverse colours and put ashes on herself. That means she went into a state of disarray, her dreams, livelihood and aspirations were all shattered. The coat, which identified her as a royal, she renounced.
This has been the case of a number of women, they feel their sense of living is been taken away and so they live with the pain, hurt and deceit each day giving up on their birthrights, dreams and aspirations.
This is why The New Woman has been setup to assist women with emotional frustrations to emerge, conquer and ascend to impact society with their God giving gifts and talents.
This is a need in our society that has to be addressed, failure in addressing it will lead to a high number of unfulfilled aspirations; a depressed generation of woman who have lost direction or lost hope all-together.
Our mission is to revive and restore hope to women, emerging from victims to Victors.

Some of our achievements so far
We have provided seed funds to 20 women in addition to mentoring and training.
We have taken 100s of women through counselling and guidance and referred about 20 to professionals such as psychologists and mental health professionals for a more in-depth support.
We speak to several women who just call in to seek advice or be listened to on one off basis every day.
We provided telephone and online intervention supports to 3-5 ladies who were either depressed, anxious or experiencing abuse at home.

- 5 of our initial seed funded ladies are thriving in business after 2 years.
- 10 marriages have been restored through our marriage and relationship counselling
- A community of 150 women are being psycho empowered and now have an improved outlook on life and zeal.
- Supporting former substance abusers; both are emerging strongly and improving their resilience.
